Terri Pollock is a strategic communications professional with experience in healthcare, healthcare policy, and health IT. Prior to joining Amendola, she served as the Associate Director of Public Affairs for the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) government affairs office in Washington, D.C., where she developed expertise in telehealth, Medicare, interoperability, and value-based payment reform. At MGMA, Terri managed press relations and guided the communications strategy to support the organization's advocacy efforts and brand awareness. She successfully amplified the voices of thousands of medical practices across the country and advanced policy priorities through earned and owned media initiatives.
By cultivating key media relationships and carefully crafting messaging, Terri has secured press coverage in several top tier national outlets such as Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Washington Post, and HuffPost, as well as several leading healthcare trade publications.
Previously, Terri was the Communications Director for the National Coalition on Health Care where she first realized her passion for healthcare. Terri received her Master of Arts degree from the Institute of World Politics in Statecraft and International Affairs with a specialization in Peacebuilding, Stabilization, and Humanitarian Affairs. She also served as the Alumni and Communications Coordinator for the Institute. Terri holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi.
